Working as a dog trainer is a big accomplishment and we are thrilled that you are taking the next step in applying for certification.  You’ve worked hard to get here and certification can be the icing on the cake!

Woofs of Wisdom is proud to offer a dog trainer certification program.  Show the public that you have reached a high level of proficiency and strive to increase your knowledge and experience through continuing education.

Base requirements:  You must be working in some capacity as a trainer and have achieved the following hours:  For group classes, you must have a minimum of 50 hours as a Lead Trainer and 100 hours total. For private sessions, you must have a minimum of 25 hours as Lead Trainer and 50 hours total.

With our certification, trainers will receive the following:

  • The use of "WOW-CDT" after their name or the full "Woofs of Wisdom Certified Dog Trainer."
 
  • The use of our exclusive WOW-CDT logo on your marketing materials.
 
  •  A listing on our website under "Certified Trainers."
 
  • A wide variety of activities and training that qualify for continuing education credits.
 
  • An opportunity to network with other professional trainers.
